Artisan to see the return of Market-Fest in time for Halloween

Artisan Restaurant & Bar will see the return of its monthly Market-Fest just in time for Halloween.  Market-Fest, which runs from 12 – 5pm on Sunday 30th October, highlights the versatility of Artisan, bringing the atmosphere of a bohemian market to the stylish venue which is located in a vast loft style space in the Spinningfields area of Manchester.

Following the huge success of the first one last month, purveyors of artisan goods will return with a selection of fine, unique and handcrafted items to browse, as well as food, drink and entertainment for adults and children alike.   Handmade gifts, arts and crafts will be available, such as goods from Glass Gardener, The Naked Candle Co, Deva Daisy Designs and David Draws as well as irresistible chocolate apples and chocolate lollipop making from R&M Fine Chocolate. Further stalls will include Sarah Gregory Textile Art, Jenny Dunlop Artist, Alex Mullen and Kula.

Adding some cheeky amusement to proceedings, legendary cartoonist Tony Husband will also bring his Cartoon Confessional to Market-Fest.

There are activities galore to keep younger guests happy once again, with interactive model making from Jon Cole Arts, Wish Upon a Sparkle glitter face painting and giant Jenga and Connect 4 games. Tasty treats will include a toffee apple station and a ‘build your own flatbread’ area as well as cupcake decorating from Zara Cakes.

Naturally, this Market-Fest will have a spooky element to celebrate Halloween, with medium and tarot card reader Leigh Knowles in residence, as well as trick or treat bags for adults and children and giant pumpkin carving alongside make-up artists showcasing Halloween and SFX makeup.  Cazcabel and Bacardi pop-ups will offer spirit sampling and guests can try their hand at a spot of mixology.

Combining food, drink and artisan goods which showcase the creative flair of local independent traders all the stall spots at Market-Fest are free with profits going directly to traders. The eclectic selection of goodies means that there is something to appeal to everybody as well as live music to add to the energy.

A Sunday Roast and the usual rustic and nourishing Artisan menu will still be available for diners. There will be 30% off your total food bill all day during Market-Fest and tables can be booked via www.artisan.uk.com/marketfest. Market-Fest is an unmissable date for the diary offering beats, eats and treats for all the family.
