A delicious new brunch menu will be on offer at Flying Childers at Chatsworth featuring specially designed dishes to enjoy at the restaurant located at The Stables.
Available from Friday 24 March 2017, the new menu has been designed to complement the well-received Wedgwood Afternoon Tea at Flying Childers. Since its opening in April last year, visitors have been able to enjoy the delectable selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, tea and scones served on the famous Wedgwood china. I can attest to the delectable nature of the afternoon tea, see my original review here.
Now, on the back of its success, Flying Childers is delighted to introduce an additional dining experience for visitors. The menu includes mouth-watering dishes such as flaked mackerel and chargrilled aubergine rolls; duck eggs and truffle oil and flat mushroom and Y Fenni Welsh rarebit alongside a choice of bubbles and champagne cocktails.
The menu has been designed by Alun Roberts, executive chef at Chatsworth, using local suppliers with the best quality ingredients. He said: “Flying Childers is such a stunning restaurant, an oasis of tranquillity at Chatsworth. It’s the perfect place to enjoy brunch and I wanted to create a menu to reflect the exquisite surroundings. My dishes can be enjoyed with a good strong coffee, one of our carefully chosen Wedgwood teas or a glass of Bucks Fizz or Bellini for an extra special treat. The perfect way to start the day!”
I love good coffee, so this is music to my ears.
The Flying Childers Restaurant is open weekends, bank holidays and every day during school holidays. The brunch menu will be served from 11am-2pm, with dishes priced individually.
