Caribbean restaurant and bar, Turtle Bay is celebrating National Vegetarian Week (15-21 May 2017) with the addition of fabulous new vegetarian and vegan dishes to its menu.
There’s a deliciously creative choice of starters and mains that are suitable for a light luncheon or an evening meal at Turtle Bay.
The Spiced Chickpea Wrap, Vital Veggie Beach Platter and the Spinach, Aubergine & Sweet Potato Curry are all new and either veggie or vegan friendly.
Okra Ladies’ Fingers are a sizzling new side order from the Caribbean – totally moreish and pretty as a picture too.
The new Beach Salad range provides a lighter, fresher, superfood option for diners who are after quick, healthy bites. These come as three bases and guests can add a choice of toppings to create their own beautifully refreshing and tasty salad – for example, avocado, butternut squash and mango.
The “Chow” menu represents another way to liven up and refresh traditional Turtle Bay choices – it’s a fresh fruit salad from Trinidad made from chopped watermelon or pineapple marinated in herbs.
I’m used to having fruit served sweet, so to have it mixed up with savoury herbs such as coriander, is definitely interesting. I’ll be sure to try this next time I’m at Turtle Bay. Expect a review shortly.
