Hey guys,
How have you been? Time is going by way too fast (no change there then)!
I can’t believe it’s October already, and what an exciting few months lie ahead! There’s a tonne of really interesting stuff happening, which I’m so excited about, so here goes. Firstly, I’ll be running a Writers’ Workshop later this month, giving tips, tricks and everything else in between on how to publish an E-book. From tag words to metadata and book PR, I’ll be giving the low-down on how to best market your book in this ever crowded industry. How cool does that sound? More deets of this Workshop to follow.
I’m also in the process of firming up an author talk (more on that later), which is going to be epic. Really. To connect with readers is what I love and the best part of my job so I can’t WAIT to get this in the diary! To top it all off, I started another novella, details which I’ll put up on a different post, as it’s topical and I can wax lyrical about it when I have more time. That’s not to even mention Halloween, Christmas and some pretty big film releases (cough, Breaking Dawn Part 2, cough). Oh come on, even if you don’t buy into the Twilight franchise, it being the final film is something to be merry about, dependent totally on whether you’re a Twihard or caustic critic.
I’m also in the process of poring over fashion look-books, so I can fill you in on what’s going to be hot over the next few seasons. I’ll be live-blogging from a local fashion show (latte in hand at The Market Place in Bolton), to see how the high street scores in interpreting latest fashion trends. See, told you it’s all systems go! I promise to swing by more often, when I’m not chained to my laptop or got my head buried in the latest book which I’m reviewing.
Speaking of, I’m lucky enough to be reading an exclusive copy of The Dark Heroine by Abigail Gibbs, which is really very good (Kaspar is yum). I’ll be posting the review on Waterstone’s and here on my website too. Last but not least, the sequel to Bared To You (Reflected In You) by Sylvia Day is released later this month. Like thousands of others, I cannot get enough of Gideon & Eva (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, get reading BTY, I promise you won’t be disappointed). I know I’ve previously written about BTY here, but as I love championing cool authors, I’ll be blogging about the much anticipated sequel in more depth. Continue being cool guys and drop me a line; as usual, I look forward to hearing from you!
Mucho love,
RAx
