What are you doing on one of the most scariest nights of the year? If you’re stuck and craving a soiree with a difference, check out this ultra cool event in the heart of the city.
Australasia, a bar and dining destination like no other in Manchester, will transform into a haunted haven this Halloween, as it launches its exclusive Meet the Widow party in collaboration with Veuve Clicquot, on Friday 28th October. This year marks the 150th anniversary of Madame Clicquot’s death, in 1866; champagne’s most emblematic woman. Paying homage to the iconic widow, Australasia’s Bar & Terrace will be transformed into a Gothic wonderland, with haunting masquerade masks for him and her, Halloween-inspired champagne glasses and customised Veuve Clicquot Magnums. What’s more, champagne-sippers will be handed a secret card on the evening, with the chance to win either a glass or a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.
Indulge in a night of decadent wickedness, and party the night away on Australasia’s heated terrace, by booking a Veuve drinks table. Australasia’s resident DJs will be playing until the early hours.
For a hauntingly good party with a difference, make sure you reserve beforehand. Halloween is already a spooktastic time; you don’t need to be extra scared in case you don’t book a table and miss out all the fun.
If you’ve been to Autralasia before, you’ll know it’s a gorgeous space to be in. Australasia’s Bar & Terrace is a city-centre colonial style bar with heated terrace and canopied outdoor garden. Since its launch in 2011, Australasia has specialised in modern Australian cuisine combined with Pacific Rim flavours underpinned by European cooking tradition and Indonesian and Southeast Asian influences. Australia’s strong routes with Japan have also helped steer the style of the offer.
